Jarvis vs 3Commas

3Commas is a toolbox: many bot types, several exchanges and a full trading terminal so you can build your own strategy. Jarvis goes the other way: five ready, versioned models, one position at a time, and every performance number shown with its sample, window and label. One gives you freedom; the other gives you discipline and measurement.

What 3Commas does well

Where Jarvis has the edge

01

A label on every percentage

In Jarvis no number stands alone: it comes with the sample, the window and a simulated or live label. If the sample is small, the screen says so instead of showing a percentage. 3Commas warns that backtesting cannot predict the future, but that is a general notice, not a label attached to each number.

02

One decision at a time

Jarvis keeps one position at a time, with stop and target set on entry. That makes it clear which model took which decision. With DCA, Grid and SmartTrade all running in one dashboard, that reading is harder.

03

A no-withdrawal key by design

The Binance key Jarvis uses only needs permission to read your balance and to trade. It is stored AES-256-GCM encrypted and the money never leaves your account. 3Commas also states it cannot withdraw; the difference is that in Jarvis the minimum permission set is the default.

04

Minimum confidence in your hands

You set the minimum confidence Jarvis needs in order to enter. Below that the signal still reaches your Telegram and nothing is executed. It is a brake you control, not a bot parameter to calibrate.

Which one to pick

Pick 3Commas if

Choose 3Commas if you want to build several bot types, across several exchanges, and feed in external TradingView signals.

Pick Jarvis if

Choose Jarvis if you prefer five ready models, one position at a time, and every number shown with sample, window and label.

Moving from 3Commas to Jarvis

Turn the bots off and revoke, on Binance, the API key you had given to 3Commas, then create a new one with read-balance and trade permissions only, no withdrawal. Paste that key into Jarvis, pick a model and a minimum confidence, and start on the Demo account.

Frequently asked questions

Can Jarvis withdraw money from my Binance account?

No. The key you create only needs permission to read your balance and to trade, never to withdraw. It is stored AES-256-GCM encrypted and the money stays in your account.

Jarvis or 3Commas: which has more bot types?

3Commas, by a wide margin: DCA, Grid, Signal Bot and SmartTrade, across several exchanges. Jarvis has five versioned models and one position at a time, designed to be compared against each other.

Does Jarvis already trade with real money?

Not yet. The first version runs only on a Binance Demo account, with test money. That is deliberate, so there is measured history before real money is involved.

Can I test both without risk?

Yes. 3Commas has Demo Trading with US$ 10,000 in virtual funds, up to two accounts and perpetual markets only. Jarvis, in its first version, runs exclusively on a Binance Demo account.
